In 2002, a year when the job market fell and potential employees were plentiful, several experienced recruiters partnered and created Allen Keith and Associates (AKA). Seeing they could make a mark in the industry, they decided to take staffing in a different direction. They created a method to help them stand out above and beyond their competitors. They added to the staffing industry a unique approach to the hiring needs of Salt Lake City companies. The result was Allen Keith and Associates, a company that combined expert recruiting with new value-added services and a higher level of exclusive, personalized attention. Unlike our competitors, AKA insisted on frequent site visits to every client and unique personal interviews with every job applicant. By taking the extra effort to define both its clients and its candidates, AKA quickly gained a reputation for finding the perfect person for any staffing situation.
As the company evolved, they expanded their services into six divisions—each division having a unique style of recruiting for various areas in the market. With the expanded divisions—Technology, Accounting, Scientific, Professional Staffing, Engineering, and Light Industry—AKA has increased its influence to an international level. AKA services include contracting services, direct placement, and payroll services.
